Book, College...That's It.

So I finished Misspent Youth, by Peter F. Hamilton a couple days ago. I thought it would be better. The ending was predictable, and the story was interesting, but boring at the same time. How do writers do that? How can they write something interesting yet boring? It was boring because of all the unnecessary scenes in the book, but it was interesting because the book was set in the future, and there was some interesting sounding technology. Other than that, the book was boring.
Now, I've reading Fallen Dragon, also by Peter F. Hamilton (I started on...um... Tuesday?), and I'm on page 78 of 818. I've made so much progress in that book. HAHA. It's got the stories of three characters so far, and it's alright, but it's one of those books that puts me to sleep. I doubt I'll be able to finish this book by Wednesday, which is when college will finally start. If not, I can read it on BART... if I'm that desperate for entertainment (it's actually pretty interesting just looking outside the windows of BART, but of course, that will get boring after a week's worth of transportation).

There are things I'm looking forward to in the coming weeks/months:
  • Next week (9/19-25/11): New NCIS episodes finally come out. I am so sick of those episodes about the "Port to Port Killer." -______________-
  • I finally start college. I will finally have something to do besides lay there (on my grandparent's bed) and read and watch Ghost Hunters/ Suits/ Conan/ Ned's Declassified/ random stupid things on TV. -__-
  • One YEAR! (only one person will know what I'm talking about) :D There are times when it feels like it's been much more than a year (which is good) and times when it feels like it's been less (that's also good).
A couple days after next week (9-28ish-11): A certain Auntie is coming to visit. I can't wait! ^__^
Next month (October):
  • BIRTHDAYS.
  • HALLOWEEN.
  • HOMECOMING (I think. I'll have to look that up on the college calendar).
So yeah, my summer vacation is finally going to end. It was nice the first three months, but then it got really boring because my grandparents didn't want to go anywhere without my dad. Then my sleep pattern got messed up.... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAOSIDFHKLVN. -___-  I hope I don't get too lost at college. I mean, I know where the buildings are, but I don't know where my classes are in the buildings...soooooo...hopefully, I can find my next classes after a 10 min break. If not, I walk into my class on the first day embarrassed. Would the teacher even let me in if I got there late? >__< They don't even have a math book up for me yet. What is wrong with these people?!
I would like to thank the three people that have been reading this whenever I posted it (on Facebook). It's nice to know that people read it, and I hope you enjoy it.

Who knows when I'll be able to write another one of these. Probably Christmas Vacation. So, 'til then: bye bye, and thanks for reading! :D

Five Years Have Gone By

A little summary of what's happened The happenings Graduated college with my degree in 2015. It seems to be pretty useless because I haven't even really used it for anything in my field. It's usually just,  OH, YOU HAVE A DEGREE! You don't have to take this test!" "Oh, you were a Psyc major? Do you wanna be a therapist? DO YOU ANALYZE PEOPLE?! Can you tell what I'm thinking right now? Can you save my family?!? Do you know why these people act this way?!" No, I don't know why they act that way. I don't even know why I act the way I do... and I'm not going to pay a thousands just to go back and hate it.. so no thanks. College also brought out some health issues, most notably migraines and bloody noses. MSG is an evil that's everywhere. Finally Done with Two Towers and Pride and Prejudice

Okay, so, I've been complaining about reading The Two Towers . The ending left more to be desired, but of course, that's what Return of the King is for. But, yes, J.R.R. Tolkien's style is very detailed-- so detailed I know that I won't be able to go on with reading Return of the King . I couldn't take reading about Sam, Frodo, and Gollum walking around Mordor...or wherever they were. I just couldn't. I have to admit that I didn't really read the last couple pages because I already knew what was going to happen.
