Book, College...That's It.
So I finished Misspent Youth , by Peter F. Hamilton a couple days ago. I thought it would be better. The ending was predictable, and the story was interesting, but boring at the same time. How do writers do that? How can they write something interesting yet boring? It was boring because of all the unnecessary scenes in the book, but it was interesting because the book was set in the future, and there was some interesting sounding technology. Other than that, the book was boring. Now, I've reading Fallen Dragon , also by Peter F. Hamilton (I started on...um... Tuesday?), and I'm on page 78 of 818. I've made so much progress in that book. HAHA. It's got the stories of three characters so far, and it's alright, but it's one of those books that puts me to sleep. I doubt I'll be able to finish this book by Wednesday, which is when college will finally start. If not, I can read it on BART... if I'm that desperate for entertainment (it's actually pretty in...
