That One Friend... THE COMMANDER

Let's have a dialogue I made up first. xD A Commander and it's Trooper (who used to be good friends) are at a cliff searching for food when a sudden "gust of wind" aka, the Commander's wind riffle pushes the Trooper off of the side of the cliff. The Trooper is hanging on for dear life. T-Commander, please help me, I'm about to fall! C-I will not help you because you disobeyed multiple orders that I gave you dicrectly. T-That's because your orders were stupid. They only helped you, not the rest of the troop. C-I'm the leader, I do what I want.  T-Can't you see? You're pulling the troop apart because of your selfishness? The troops needs to stick toge- C-SHUT UP? CAN'T YOU SEE HOW USELESS YOU ARE? T-Commander, can't you see what you're doing? The Help and Winter quarter

Last week, I started reading the novel, The Help , by Kathryn Stockett. It was certainly one of the more interesting books I've read. I suppose it was interesting because the characters kept on switching back and forth between the characters...and interesting because of their situation. Ya know, a white lady writing about "the help?" In Mississippi? Pretty suspenseful stuff. Why was is suspenseful? Because! There was always a question going through my head, like: are they going to get discovered? Is she going to get fired/slapped/shot/...fired? Seriously. This book was an easy read. I ate up those words like chocolate (and that says a lot about my reading speed). Then again, reading The Help is way more entertaining than reading Kenesiology/ English textbooks. I probably could have finished it in a couple days if not for winter quarter finals and my purposly dragging it out for my 3 day trip coming up. Looks like I failed at that, but oh well.
